Mrs. Lisa C. Logan-Leach, currently the President of the Plainfield Board of Education, has been an involved member of the Plainfield community for a number of years. Some of her awards and community organizations are as follows: 2002 recipient of the New Jersey Minority Achievers Program, certified school board member by New Jersey School Boards, career day speaker for numerous schools in Plainfield, member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, member of the Order of the Eastern Star Rebecca Chapter #1 (P.H.A.), member of Daughters of Isis Golconda Court #16, Past President of the Cedarbrook School PTA 2002-2003, parent member of the Tsunami Track Club, member of the NAACP, and an elected member of the Plainfield School Board since 2003

Mrs. Logan-Leach has a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications.

Mrs. Logan-Leach is the proud mother of Lionel Anthony Leach, III who currently has aspirations of becoming a writer. Education has long been a driving force for Mrs. Logan-Leach and her family. Her mother, Mrs. Brenda Logan, is a veteran of the district and currently serves as a vocal music teacher. The former president of Cheyney University, Dr. Leslie Pinckney Hill, was her great grandfather.

Mrs. Logan-Leach is a firm believer that when you have the right people in place working together, then the sky is the limit. Our own greatness is our responsibility to mold and shape for our future.
