The Department of Public Information & Marketing (communications@plainfield.k12.nj.us) is located at the Board of Education Administration Building, Room 117.  Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..  The office number is (908) 731-4333.

MISSION
Our mission is to perform the essential communication functions needed to improve all stakeholders¹ understanding of the services and programs offered within the Plainfield Public Schools.  Our goal is to actively engage families and the community in a meaningful, structured, and proactive manner that promotes learning for all students.

  • Implementation of Superintendent Messages on district website
  • Video Recording of BOE Business Meetings aired on Channel 74
  • Liaison to Superintendent¹s Quarterly Stakeholder Meeting
  • Implementation of State-of-the-District Address
  • Liaison to community/local media regarding PPS Programs, Initiatives, and Events

Our office staff includes: Mr. Eric Jones (Coordinator), Mrs. Joyce Gerstorfer (Administrative Support), and Mr. Dario Minetti (Webmaster).
