The special education population represents around 13% of the population totaling approximately 970 students. Students are placed in the least restrictive environment that will meet their educational needs. From In-Class Support to Inclusion the goal of the Special Education Department is to provide an excellent and appropriate education to all children so that they can achieve their greatest potential. Programs are generated from Individual Education Plans written by child study team members, teachers and parents. Together we collaborate to make sure all children’s needs are met.
