June 18, 2009 - The Plainfield Public Schools congratulates Ms. Linda Reid for her acceptance into the Earth Science Leadership Academy in Houston, Texas. Ms. Reid has been an educator within the district for the past ten years and is currently serving as a Science Lead Teacher. Having been nominated for this opportunity by Ms. Rosa Salinas, District Vice-Principal of Science, Ms. Reid applied and gain acceptance. Over the summer, Ms. Reid will travel to Houston for a five-day workshop with science educators from eight states. This trip was at no cost to the district.
