July 1, 2009 - On Thursday, June 25, 2009, district staff from various schools and offices gathered to salute Dr. Christopher Lommerin, departing principal of Cook K-8 Center. Superintendent Gallon attended and provided remarks. Dr. Lommerin has accepted a position of Superintendent of Schools in the Ocean Township. His last day in Plainfield was June 30, 2009. Dr. Lommerin served the Plainfield Public Schools for 11 years as a principal.
