NJ STATE THEATRE POET-IN-RESIDENCE GLENIS REDMOND TO VISIT PAAAS

creative writing. Plainfield Academy for the Arts and Advanced
Studies will host NJ State Theater’s Poet-in-Residence,

Barlow School Light It Up Blue for World Autism Month
April 2nd, is Autism Awareness Day and World Autism Month. Barlow School Light It Up Blue to come together in unity to increase understanding and acceptance of children and adults with autism, across the spectrum.
Barlow School released Balloons for Autism in order to raise Autism awareness in our community.
Attention Parents and Guardians of Plainfield High School students
annual physicals are being offered at the high school on May 17th beginning at 9:00am. Forms are available in the nurses office in the main building. These forms must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian and returned to the nurse by May 16th. There is no cost for this service. These are NOT athletic physicals.

Plainfield, N.J. – April 13, 2017 - The Plainfield Board of Education named Dr. Debra J. Sheard, Acting Superintendent of Plainfield Public Schools, at its meeting Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Plainfield High School. Dr. Sheard, the Assistant Superintendent for Plainfield schools has been at the helm of the district since February 6, 2017 while the Board settled a transfer agreement with former Superintendent of Schools Anna Belin-Pyles. PPS is looking for several dedicated teachers to serve as leaders in professional development. Through this collaborative cohort, you will have the opportunity to participate in developing expertise in best practices within the Danielson Model and share with your colleagues. The major responsibility of T3 leaders is to lead effective turnkey training sessions. T3 leaders are building-based teachers who lead others in the work of growing professionally. All T3 teams will work on improving the achievement of all students.
