Clinton Elementary School - Principal's Corner

Dear Clinton School Families:

Happy November

We are in the midst of a full change of the season as we welcome the cool, damp colorful days of autumn. The leaves have turned and most of your children have settled into their daily rituals and routines. The first two months of school are in the books and here are some “look fors” with respect to your children and their focus on learning. At Clinton our focus will be: Clarity on the standards and related objective for Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies, Student Intellectual Engagement, Analyzing and Problem Solving, Question techniques, Classroom Discourse and Communication (verbal and written), Assessments used to guide instruction, Differentiation and Modifications for all students (GE, G&T, SPED, and ELL) Classroom Routines/Procedures with a focus on Classroom Management
