Union College | Eligible Union College Credit Courses are offered to Junior and Senior students at Plainfield High School. These courses, taught by a certified Plainfield High School teacher, focus on College Algebra. Kean University, Project Adelante; Kean Scholars- Summer Institute | Kean Scholar Academy provides qualified high school students with the chance to earn college credits and engage in mentorships, internships, and enrichment activities. The program, which began in Summer 2021, includes a four-week summer orientation on the University’s Union and Skylands campuses. This collaboration is part of the Jets' broader initiative to expand girls' flag football across New Jersey and New York. In 2024, the Jets sponsored over 100 high school girls' flag football teams, including Plainfield High School, offering resources such as uniforms, equipment, and funding to establish and grow these programs. |
