PLAINFIELD, NJ – November 1, 2024 – Plainfield Public Schools is pleased to announce positive advancements following its recent New Jersey Quality Single Accountability Continuum (NJQSAC) evaluation. This state-mandated assessment serves as the Department of Education's monitoring and self-evaluation system for public school districts, focusing on five key components: Instruction & Program, Fiscal, Governance, Operations, and Personnel.
From August 2023 to October 2024, Plainfield Public Schools has improved in two key areas. The district achieved a remarkable 28.85% increase in the Personnel category, and a 1.42% increase in Instruction and Programs, moving from 70% to 71%. These results reflect the dedicated efforts of the entire school community to enhance educational quality.
The consistent scores in Fiscal Management, Governance, and Operations show a solid foundation, with all three components remaining well above the expected mark.

The Personnel and Instruction and Program improvements indicate the district's collaborative efforts to foster an environment contributing to academic success. The ongoing focus on enhancing educational programs and staff development reflects a commitment to meeting the needs of all students.
