PLAINFIELD, NJ —JUNE 20, 2025- Plainfield Public Schools announces the temporary closure of the Hub Stine Sports Complex as the district prepares for the highly anticipated Plainfield Public Schools' Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony.
To ensure a safe and memorable celebration for our graduates and their families, the complex will be closed to the public beginning Monday, June 23 through Tuesday, June 24, 2025. During this time, staff will be on-site setting up the stadium and surrounding grounds for the commencement event.
The Hub Stine Sports Complex will reopen to the public on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
“We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we create a meaningful and dignified experience for the graduating Class of 2025,” said Superintendent of Schools Rashon K. Hasan, Ed. S. “This milestone is not only a celebration for our students and families, but also a proud moment for the entire Plainfield community.”
